Simple for schools, easy for parents

How it works

Everything is designed to slot into school life without adding to anyone's workload.

No cost to the school

Parents pay £50 per month directly to Giant Steps, covering four 30 minute weekly lessons. Nothing comes out of the school budget.

We handle everything

All the scheduling, admin and parent communication is taken care of by us. Every teacher is fully DBS checked.

Within the school day

Lessons take place during school hours, scheduled directly around the timetable so nothing important is disrupted.

Our mission

Every child deserves to learn from musicians who truly live for music.

Giant Steps was founded on that belief. Our teachers come from a place of genuine devotion and passion. They are performers at venues like Ronnie Scott's, the Barbican and the Royal Albert Hall, and graduates of the Royal Academy, Guildhall and Trinity.

Children feed off their energy and passion in a way that changes how they experience music entirely.

Children are not just taught an instrument with us. They are shown the real depth of music and what it takes to truly play it, because music is not just about doing the right movements or reading the dots on the page. It has so much more to offer, and every child deserves to discover that.

Real performers, real passion

What parents say

Joseph is absolutely loving his guitar lessons and says you are a fabulous teacher. The Carols in the Gallery with so many guitarists all playing together was truly impressive. He cannot wait to continue.
A Giant Steps parent
Rory has been really enjoying his guitar lessons at school and has started practising at home too. It is wonderful to see him so enthusiastic about music.
A Giant Steps parent
The performance by the guitar group was truly amazing. Mark was initially quite hesitant about performing in front of others but now he genuinely loves it. We are so grateful for the positive impact these lessons have had on his confidence.
